About
The Malaysia / Singapore / Brunei (MSB) Studies Group is a committee under the Southeast Asia Council (SEAC) of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS). The journal Berita was founded by Prof. John Lent in 1975, and the next year the Malaysia / Singapore / Brunei Studies Group was launched. Since that time, it has continued to serve as a cross-disciplinary network linking the community of scholars in North America and beyond with research and other professional interests in Malaysia, Singapore, or Brunei.
Regular membership in the MSB is $20 per year, and $80 for five years. Students, retirees, adjunct faculty, independent scholars, and scholars from Malaysia, Singapore, or Brunei are eligible to join as either Regular members, or Associate members for $10 a year. Members will receive an electronic subscription to Berita, our quarterly bulletin. A free Corresponding membership includes you in our electronic list-serv, the MSBForum – just send an e-mail to Greg Felker at gfelker@willamette.edu
